Working on this shot of Canyon De Chelly, AZ that I took a few years ago on a tour with a guide Adam Teller of Antelope House Tours. He was wonderful and told us many stories about his people and the Canyon. I highly recommend him.
Thank You for the comments, I hope to do this one again and with experience now. I'll do the shadows different, since I experimented by placing the darks cave shadows in first and then layering on top. The good thing is that I learned alot about the red rock colorings. I also used Gary Spetz technique of using a small fine mist spray bottle to help the water flow to create the streaks.
This painting has a nice abstract quality to it. Good job!!
