Rookie Painter - December 2011 Challenge

Happy New Year!

Yay! I was able to carve out some time to paint so I headed over to my favorite painting challenge "Rookie Painter" for inspiration. I really like this site because the subjects chosen for the paintings are great and the photos are well done.

    Turned out beautifully: the strawberries are luscious, and the bowls are great; I like the way you let the colors mingle!

    Sheila, it's beautiful! I was thinking about you today and what a nice surprise to find that you posted on your blog after a long hiatus! It looks as though a break from painting did a lot of good-you came back stronger than ever.
